at the moment it's 4 packages to 151 players.. seems ridiculous.. how many people/packages are usually expected?

get as many chips as possible and win a ticket! easy really.

There's not much diffence, just use position and player your cards.

Does this play more like a freezout due to high cost of rebuys.

Up to 4500 after some tool llimped AK on the button after MP raise and 3 limpers. I reraised with 99 folded to him, he shoves and I call. No A or K. Tasty

nearly nobody rebuys, so its nearly a freeze out, a lot do top up. had the same hand 99 got reraise by a muppet with JK, knew it was a silly move by him so push, he call for all of his stack and hit J and K.

Also got knock out of the pokerstars warm up by runner runner near the money, looks like the poker gods have turn on me after last months run, still cant complain.

Not really. You get 6 and 1/3 Big blinds for your 200. No value

button makes his usual x2 raise..
sb goes allin for 11k,
knowing the sb is making a move to pick up the pot there and then,
i call with aks and am all in for 10k..
button also calls and is all in for 10k..

sb shows 102o
button shows aj

flop brings a 10 and sb wins an over 30k pot..

so out in 49th/50th
on another night my ak holds up, i'm chip leader and can almost cruise to a ticket.. it hurts..

you have plenty of chips so dont get ancy, remember you only need 1 single chip when it gets down to 9 players doesnt make a lick of difference if you had half the chips in play or just the one, so just stay out of trouble and if neccesary pick your spots.

Hi all. I was the player ronanriv... My internet connection is fine, it's just paddy power's software freezes from time to time on my machine and i have to restart. busted outta this in 14th when it was folded round to me in my SB and my JK ran into KK...

Yeah. I don't tend to buy in directly to these though. can't afford it. I just began to play the feeders during the week. yesterday was my first time playing the main one. i didn't realise that there'd be so many donkeys in a $200 buy-in event though. ah well, i'll see ya there next week if i qualify. hopefully my connectivity problems don't get too much in the way. gl.
