Im in the ballincollig area of cork city and I'd like to get broadband into my house (which is rented)
but I dont know where to start. Ive tried to read through previous posts here but I'm still a little unsure of whats best option and how it exactly works.

1.I had been considering the eircom or chorus packages (only because Ive head about them the most) but not 100% sure how it works.
Im wondering if I have to pay phone line rental?
(there is a phone+line in house from previous tennant, but is not conected anymore)
2.The prices eircom quote on their site, is that just for broadband not including other charges?
    3.do I need to get a router?

4.What do I need in order to get in wireless broad band?
do I need an aerial etc?

    any advice greatly appreciated. thanks
