Dont worry, they have to play here. They cant preview their biggest album here and then avoid it on the reunion. Im just hoping its not between the 6th to the 18th of June though

If they don't play Slane or ****** there's going to a lot of disappointed people. They'd sell The Point out in thirty seconds.

J1 this year FTW though \o/.

this year is probably going to be one of the best years ever for festivals/concerts in ireland . i can just see so many great bands planning on touring this year and making new albums etc. i'd like to see Rage against the machine, smashing pumkins , cypress hill etc this year

I'd expect them to play either the RDS or Marley Park if they do end up playing these parts.

remember point is scheduled to be closed 30th of June, so i doubt they'll play there. apparently talk from promoter x is there wont be many bands playing here for the 18 months the Point is closed, besides festivals that is.

I doubt they'd play there anyway. I think I said this in a previous thread but I'm sure they (Billy) would want to avoid the place after a fan died at one of their gigs there in '96.

Are you sure it's 2007, and not 10 years ago you're talking about?

    Master of the Universe

I've been waiting to see them play here for years. They'd better not do a bloody festival. I'd be most upset.

Aye, a festival would be shocking. I think they should play Voodoo :p

Pumpkins will sell out wherever they play, it's a given. Slane? I *might* be inclined, but the support'd have to be good.

A selection of dates in the <snip> would be lovely.
