Just turned on my IPOD there and all I get is a high pitched noise comming from it. It doesnt turn on and no buttons seem to work....

Anyone heard of this happening to anyone else?
The IPOD itself is only about 2 months old bought in America...

Try resetting it by holding the centre button and menu button (the top one of the circle) for 6 to 10 seconds

That is very unusual, I have never heard of that happening before. Just to note, if you do reset it, you will loose all the songs on it. But don't worry, that shouldn't be a problem, all you have to do is reconnect it to itunes and the magic will happen. Strange problem indeed.
