Ipod video 60GB player problem..

    Hi,
    I have my iPod about 13 months now and it just started acting up about a week or two ago. What happens is I go to play a song say number 1 of 10 in an album it then flicks right through to say 4, will play that song then skip through to say 9 or 10. The songs it skips or completely random and its like they have been erased off the hard disk. If I sync my iPod in iTunes then everything is okay for a day or two. I was thinking it may be the hard disk but I have lots of other data on it too and I can read that perfect.

    Maybe there are too many "other" files on the hard drive and the the music gets lost in them?? If it needs to be repaired whats the story??
