Think iktitaf will run better this time than last, think brave inca is obviously the one to beat, the continued booking of ruby walsh on asian maze on 2 miles baffles me as he doesnt seem to suit on the occasions I've seen, any ideas?

Luanos has nothing but impressed me but not sure if he is up to this big a test so macs joy ew for me at a decent price of 10/1. I could see him placing and perhaps winning which is what ew is all about right? lol

Bet of the day for me is hairy molly though n the first

    2:20 HANDICAP CHASE 2m 3f
    In The High Gra 1.57

    2:50 A.I.G. CHAMPION HURDLE GRADE 1 2m
    Iktitaf 1.72

    3:25 NOVICE HURDLE 2m 4f
    Aitmatov

This race should have got a reverse from the stewarts, Kazal with Gerathy on board let the horse run diagonally and then collided with slippers when he was coming on terms form the last furlong and a half. Stewards made wrong decesion, even Ted Walsh made a valid case for reversing.

Surely the acid test for reversing the result is 'would the horse have won w/o the interfearance/clash' think the answer is yes.
but as usual unless he steers the other horse into the rails while hitting the other jock while his whip (Ben Hur style) nothing will be done.
Iktitkat looks a horse in trouble, back to sq1, too different jocks not even an effort this time.

Hardy Eustace ran a monster race to put one over BI, but I think it will be a different story come March.

Would have to disagree with you on the stewards inquiry CD...... but, on the other hand, would have to spectacularly agree with you on your anti-VRT signature!! :) Although that's a rant for another day...

I'd have to disagree with you on the stewards enquiry. I dutched both horses, so the actual outcome made little difference to me, but I felt Kazal won the race fairly. I had a chat with one of the on course bookies and he felt the exact same way. They showed it for about 15 minutes on the big screen, from various different angles and the more I watched it the more confident I was that the result would not be over turned.

Kazal veered slight towards Aitmatov and after that it kept on straight and that is when Aitmatov veered into Kazal.

Agree also that Kazal should have kept the race, but if they met again at the same terms I'd back Aitmatov to reverse placings - he had problems getting a run before this happened
