Crackle from new TV speakers

I recently bought a 32" Samsung CRT TV. It comes with two scart ports which I have my NTL digibox and dvd player connected up to and also the traditional port for analog TV.

My problem is that there is a crackle from the speakers when using the NTL digibox or dvd player. When I watch TV in analog, its fine.

I'm now wondering if the crackling is from using cheap scart leads or is there a problem with the TV. I'd appreciate if someone could offer me advise on this.

Sounds like i have the same TV. I had a Bush PVR unit connected & the TV often crackled. I've replaced the Bush unit with a Dumax PVR & this was Ok for about 3 days & now the crackling in the TV speakers has started again. If the TV is used on it's own then the speakers seem OK - Any ideas?

Is the crackling effected by loudness ? Does the volume control make any difference to when it begins ?
