I've seen loads of ads for this over the last few months and I was just wondering if anyone here has played there? My initial reaction is that it would be full of fish simply attracted by the graphics etc... Any idea?

People here were involved in the beta testing of it but I don't know of anyone who regularly plays there. I have heard that is very slow, and you cannot multi table. Also, I don't think the player numbers are great. I also have no idea if they play Omaha either.

I downloaded it a few months a go and railed a 5/10 cash game for a bit. There was some savage play and massive pots. This guy called down a huge overbet for over a 4k pot with bottom pair on a pretty scary board. Something like 7c9cJx9xKc and calling with 67o to a river push after heave action on the flop and turn. I was thinking those guys are in a class of their own making savage calls like that for their whole stack. Didn't think I'd ever be able to make such a huge call. Then I realised it was play money. So basically, I found the interface a bit hard to use.

I downloaded the software after seeing this link and i have to say im very impressed. I agree that it should have its fair share of fish not only for the graphics but also because you cant multitable. (I dont like multitabling so no problem there for me.

I played a few play money games and i really liked it. There are several different views and i particularly like the orbit view, its like actually sitting at the table especially cool on my 20" screen.

Here are some of the cool features:

The Graphics are excellent and give it a real feel to it. It wasnt slow during the play money game, no lags but very limited timeframe.

Its very like watching TV games. You get dealt your cards and get this small cameo box that appears and you sneak a look at your cards, only enough to see the top of the cards. At any time you can sneak a look at your cards again by pressing the button and it reappears for a second or two. Very Cool.

The flop is also shown in a cameo box that shows the whole cards aswell as the fact you can see them on the table but depending on your seat it should be much easier to see them in the cameo view.

You can use lots of interaction features, like looking angry, sad, confused etc
Also you can laugh, cough, lmao and call people losers etc This is quite cool and also gives a real feel to the game but its possibly something that may become tiresome after a while. Could be good for the notes though, player A always laughs when he has the nuts. So basically you could use the interaction features to psyche a player out if your into that thing.

I was a bit lost on the showdown, didnt know where the other players cards were but i only played a few minutes.

There was about 10 25c/50c tables full or nearly full and about 8 10c/25c tables, is this good or bad, dont play cash much. The obvious downfall is you can use poker tracker etc with this software...well i presume you cant???

btw it says 3767 players online and 569 active tables...dont know if this includes play money or not. Also theres Omaha Sng's and Tournaments

I agree, the software itself is very impressive, miles ahead of the rest of the "next generation" poker sites.

They should sort out the HH's though, so that pokertracker can be used with the site. Don't know what the traffic is like at the moment, but last I checked it had improved dramatically from the previous time. A lot of play money players obviously, who are accounted for in the "users online" figure, but I've seen some of the micro/small NL games going on a few tables and theres bound to be loads of donks on it.

Played briefly on it, won a freeroll and ran the winnings up on the micro-limit NL games and the standard was brutal, really really sweet cash games at those limits. Withdrew simply because I couldn't multi-table and once I'd built up a bit of cash, at the time there was no action on the higher up micro-limit games, just a big jump to 1/2 iirc.

I'm not sure what the standards like at the mid-high limits though, I'd imagine theres quite a few poor players though given that they'd be attracted to the software. I did check a 2/4 table earlier though, most of the players at it were in for 30-50BBs, with one or two with a full buyin.

I'd say for anyone who just wants to play a bit of poker and have fun at micro-limits, its definately a good laugh (though I got sick of people using the emotion things over and over and over again), but seeing as Flippers a higher stake player, I'd give it a while until the site is a bit more packed but once it does fill up a bit more I'm sure it'll be a good spot for very easy cash games.

I played on it for about 2 months. The games are well fishy. Its about 50 hands per hour but you can multitable up to 4 tables.Omaha isnt played there. At peak times there are normally 3 $200 tables,1 $400 table and 1 $600 or $1000 table.Tourneys are a crap shoot so dont bother

I found it insufferable and don't know how any serious player could play on it. The traffic couldn't possibly be paying for the cost of the project. I doubt it'll be around by the end of the year. I do enjoy their marketing emails though where they make it sound like the most rip roaring success of the e-gaming era. They are "blown away by your response" and are the "fastest growing online poker site", blah de blah, then you go to the site and there's 20 people playing play money :)

    any bonus available ?

I just can't see the attraction of it at all to be honest, if I want to play a 'game' I'll go buy Negreanus new video game, if I want to play for money I'll play a proper site.

How prk expect to be taken serously when one of the big selling points of their software is that you can earn bonus points to allow you to buy new clothing for your on screen cartoon character !!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmmm let me see, win cash on pokerstars, or else win a nice new shiny green pair of virtual runners?????

I found this bonus code through google 50% i think.

I signed up last night and was going to play 10c/25c like i do on tribeca but the max was only €25 so i tried the 25c/50c which was €50 max buyin. There was plenty of 6pac tables but only 1 real 10ring with action. The average pot was €33 so i sat myself down when a seat became available.

I was virtually card dead in 2 hours, i only got AK once and AJ twice and my highest pocket pair was 7's, thats how bad i ran but i couldnt believe how many fish were there, if only i got a few decent hands i would have made a nice fe bob. The one time i did get AK i re-raised a 5x raise and he called. Board came King High and i led for €10 he called, blank turn and i went all in and he called with Kings for me to double up. A while later after a couple of limpers i flopped trips on a 6610 board, i led for the pot €1.75 and got 2 callers, Turn was a low card and i bet out €4 and got 1 caller, River i bet out €15 and got an immediate call with 10J. This kind of thing was regular at the table. People calling huge bets with Middle Pair or TP bad kicker. When i sat down after about 1 revolution there were 2 big stacks approx €140 each. The first stack open raised to €9, the other big stack called. Flop came Q66, the opening raises raised €30 and the other player re-raised to €60 which was called. The turn was a 6 or something and the opening raiser pushed all in. Opening raiser showed KK the other stack showed Q9

Every round if there wasnt a raiser everyone would limp, if there was a raiser of say 5x you were likely to see at least 4 callers, 3x raises were been called by almost everyone that limped, crazy. 1 or 2 were showing down big bluffs, €10 bets been made with Middle pair, you name it. Dont know if all the tables were like this but heck ill be going back today. I only got involved in about 3-4 serious hands, came out good on 3 of them but got stung when i had Jhigh flush beaten by Ace high flush but was still up about €30 at the end of the session.

You cant write Notes, You cant Multitable, You cant use Trackers/Huds. They are the big 3 obstacles and they are exactly the reason why you get fish/unexperienced players playing here for the grapical experience and the good players seem far a few between because the 3 obstacles stop them from playing here long term. Unless the tables are as soft as they were last night every night id imagine ill cash out after a few weeks myself because of the notes etc but it does make playing a bit more exciting and feel a bit more real than looking at a pair of cards.
