Anyone know how the wrestlers (wwe) can get slammed without getting badly hurt?
What causes the knockout? In this clip it looks like their heads clash after the 'bounce'

Firstly, WWE wrestler's choreograph the moves and can breakfall because they expect it. If you're not expecting a slam, you can't always break the fall.

But Rampage knocked out Arona because of a clash of heads. I think Arona would of been hurt even if it didn't happen. Arona knocked Rampage out earlier in that fight but the ref didn't spot it.

Wrestlers take a "bump" when they are slammed or thrown or anything of that nature, that is basically landing as flat as possible to distribute the impact over a larger area. Its not really compatible with Rampage trying to hammer the back of your head off the ground!
