Angels come in all shapes n sizes,
Some as bold as brass, some wear disguises,
Some don’t look like you think they would,
I know this from experience to be true

Are angels allowed to have tattoos?
Are they allowed to smoke as much as you?
I’m pretty sure they're not supposed to curse
Like a sailor with a toothache only much much worse

What happened to the wings n harp?
The glowing cherub with the halo on top
Maybe these thing’s aren’t what there meant to be.
Coz my angel sure looks like an angel to me

Is it ok for an angel to believe in voodoo?
Are they not supposed to believe in you know who?
The lights are off n were alone in our bed,
For the things she did last night I think she’s going to hell

What happened to the wings n harp?
The glowing cherub with the halo on top.
Maybe these thing’s aren’t what there meant to be.
Coz my angel sure looks like an angel to me

Whoa Joe very cool,

I like your style man, obviously a review like the last poem you did isnt required from me here. But you have some really cool lines in there:

"Maybe these thing’s aren’t what there meant to be.
Coz my angel sure looks like an angel to me"

The fourth stanza is the best though. Your point is well thought out and explained. Beauty in the eyes of the beholder and all that jazz. Last line again wraps it up nicely. Did you show this to your woman? She will be all over you if you do. I might have get you to write me something for my woman.

Those are the best lines in my opinion. They even kind of read well together...Funny that. Good stuff.

I really like it. I do think you should fix the rhymes in a couple of places if you can at all - like the last line in the first verse, it just kind of sticks out. And apologies for pedantry, but maybe the wings and harp/halo on top bit in the last verse as well.

Other than that, it's fantastic! Well done.
