bit of background 1st: 28 years old, had 3 wisdom teeth take out about 3 years ago, last one on the bottom is about 3/4 up. Barely any gap beteen my teeth especially on the bottom, slight overlap on the front bottom 2. Can just about fit floss between the front ones

Had been about 2 years since i had gone to the dentist :o. Went last week and no surprise was told gums werent in a good state. Got a clean and polish and a filling. During the clean the hygenist used some metal thing with what looked like a hooked end and forced it in between my front teeth, i suppose to have a good scrape at the build up. This felt really weird as i could feel my teeth moving apart. Things were grand up until yesterday when i now feel that my front teeth, especially the bottom ones have started to push together and i find myself trying to stick my thumb nail in between them to releive the pressure.

Is this a after effect of the cleaning and will it settle down again??
