First of all I hate all postmen/postwomen and all couriers, so does my dog.

Second: I ordered a glock18, its been sent and arrived in ireland yesterday. As of today (according to online tracker) its being held in a warehouse because of insufficient/incorrect address. Just wanted to know if any of you had dealings with ParcelForce and if you know where it might be held. I can't find any info on their site, its all dedicated to locations in Britain.

Edit: My local postie is OK, the rest need a lesson in delivering to my house which is in the middle of nowhere? Balls to being a bogger!

PS any one know the postcode for east meath

Ireland doesnt use post codes at the moment except for Dublin. You need to contact Parcel Force and ask them which courier in Ireland handles thier packages for them. I thought Parcel Force were the same as Hong Kong Speed Post but in the UK. If it is then An Post would be looking after it inIreland. Which retailer did you buy from?

I thought that was the case about the post codes. I think there was an error because i just entered my post code as "0000". I ordered it from wolf. I have no problem with them, their customer service has been great so far. I just need to find where its been held in ireland and pick it up. its just a matter of time, i want to have it by the weekend otherwise i'll be waiting until next week.

    Just checked AnPost.ie - no trace:mad:

Ring Parcel Force to morrow and find out from them who handles thier package's in Ireland. If you dont do it quick it will be sent back to Wolf. If you are friends with your postie, he might be able to help you. Give him a mince pie or somthing :D

Just a tip when ordering from sites that demand a postcode, when you put down you address write the county name without a Co. then use that as your postcode. Its worked for me for every package I've ever ordered online

I've tried this before and have found some sites require numbers to be in the postal code. You keep getting a "This is not a postal code" error type thing popping up. Generally I've found 12345 works perfectly fine :)

I rang ParcelForce this morning, got some BS response saying it would be delivered today, it sounded like she just wanted to get rid of me. Rang again later about 4:30, found out that they deal with a company called GLS Holdings here in ireland. Eventually got the number for them and found out its being held in Blanchardstown. Its supposed to be delivered tomorrow. If its not i'll be pi**ed but atleast i can just pick it up on monday. :D
    Its been an odd week!

WARNING! Don't use ParcelForce, as i said above they deal with GLS, who are IMO and other peoples opinions absolutly useless!
Just check this out and you'll see why!

Everything arrived today. The Glock is a great gun for such a small little thing. Although i know it wouldn't have arrived if i hadn't pesterd them and kept after it.
A bit of advice when ordering anything online, keep track of it (obvious i know) and if it gets stopped for whatever reason don't wait for it, be proactive about it, the last 2 times as soon as i started to make enquiries it was fast tracked and delivered.

p.s. thanks for the post code info, i think that may have had an effect on the delivery, thats why it was stopped in the first place, although why they can't just read the address i don't know!

Iv found that five zeros "00000" works best as a post-code cos its so ridiculous noone ever includes its on a package...just a thought!

if you seach well enough theirs a site about them cant remember site tho.
They loose some thing like 10-15million letters/parcels a year = to their full warehouse a year. :/
