I see kerryhead Windfarm is running tomorrow in this race and i think he is a good each way bet, last year finished second to newmill in puncstown at a 100/1 and with andrew mac on board i think he is one of the best job jockeys around, if it is out to win the jockey will do the upmost to see that it does will have a score on him e/w.
a possible danger to him i think is campect, he will be flying near the finish. he last run in the race cane brake won and was hampered in at the rail, 15 runners less in this field and maybe a better chance,i'm only putting a fiver e/w at 25/1 for an outside chance, to kill a fifty euro note

whats the recent form with your picks m8?and is it hard to look beyond kitski?.

It'll have to be Cheeky Lady for me, very impressive in the Paddy Power for only her 2nd run over fences. The jockey lost his whip before the last that day, the difference it would have made is questionable. However, carrying 9 st 10lbs again with Paddy Flood on board. Kitski is the one to beat, but my main reason for staying away is G. Lee, not his biggest fan.

I would love to see Kymandjen win, and at 25/1 I will have an interest.

I was at Gowran (fab pic on the RP site of the course btw) when he was touched off by Numbersixvalverde in 2005, so he has the best course form, and he goes well fresh.

    :)

Despite his big weight I think Southern Vic will take all the beating, he's the class horse of the race and has Ruby Walsh taking the mount, he weighted to turn around form with Kerryhead Windfarm on their November meeting. He's proven in the past that he can carry top weight to victory. Ground won't be a problem either.

the one i'm going for is American Jennie. Fourth in the irish national as a novice last Easter, she was a good 6th in the Leopardstown Chase two weekis ago on only her second run since. Travelled well and just emptied there, wasn't given a hard race and Paul Carberry replaces Barry Geraghty, who couldn't do the 10-2.

Available at 8s in a place and I'll have to have some of that!

    k.

Get on Cheeky Lady @ 7/1. Got some word for it. Bottomless ground will make it a stamina test.

I have just backed Black Apalachi, he is carrying a very small weight.

I backed Kitski - was undesided between him and Cheeky lady but he's a better price.

Someone mentioned campect - he's 8lb out of the handicap proper so that'll make life v tough for him

Well just back from gowran, lovely bright sunny day there.
Just the two ,winners celestial wave and snowy morning.
Big loss for the day 14 euro
Big cheer for ruby,s 100 winner of the season and he wasn,t slow to acknowledge it.
The second big cheer for his 101 at 7-1,is he the housewife,s choice or what?
just get the feeling if he was riding a donkey he would still be well backed
Of course a friend told me he was backing homer wells and i completely ignored his advice as you do :_((
Alot of good horses could not handle the ground and practillaly fell over the line.
Will homer wells go on to even bigger things like the last 3 winners of the thyestes.
Am not so sure myself :confused:

Agree I dont think he will either. May well be a poor renewal this year.
