Havnt been up there myself but heard it very nive, lots of staff, security and waiteress and a free bar!!! However they dont run tourneys and afaik there was a cash game running only on the 1st and 2nd night it openend.

I'd stick to the New Vic, their tourneys get a nice few runners and there is decant cash games every night.

Does anyone know if they plan to run tourneys? Nothing wrong with the Vic, but no harm in a bit of choice.

They only have 4 tables so i doubt it.

    we're starting up tourneys.
6 nights a week (not saturdays), all NL texas.
Mon: €25 2 rebuys or 1 rebuy 1 top up.
    Tues: €50 double chance.
Wed: €30 2 rebuys or 1 rebuy 1 top up.
    Thurs: €50 rebuy.
Fri €200 1 rebuy or a top up.
    Sun: €100 freezeout.
We also have a regular Omaha cash game (€2/4 pot limit) on a Friday night...a fat loose game..plenty of action.
Come along and check it out.

dropped in there on sunday evening to play the 100 freezeout but was told the tournaments weren't starting till this week(monday 5th).so while i was there i signed up for membership and had a free cappuccino at the coffee bar.first impressions, veeerrry nice place and it'll do well for the tournaments wants word gets around.the 2/4 omaha cash game might be a bit to big for the regular local players but i'm sure there's a 1/2 pl holdem game, although they don't say anything on there web page about them but the tournament shedule is on it.they say that they'll be running sats for european tournies also.
ps. by the look of the place there may be a dress code but if i was allowed in on sunday it couldn't be to strict.can you confirm pokerace.

Yes, we do have a dress code but its not too strict; as long as players dont look like they've just come off a building site or are wearing track suits, white trainers and hoodies then there's no problems.
We understand that poker players like to wear comfortable clothes at the tables, I know I do when go out to play poker.

What's the procedure for applying for membership? Can you apply ot the door and will it be processed immediately? What ID documents do you need, will a Drivers Licence be ok?

just adrivers licence is fine and membership is free so come on down have a coffee and take a look around if you fancy it.

had 8 turn up 2nite so i made it a sit and go, building up a database of players and will txt info on tourneys, attendance etc and if people waitin for a sit and go or cash game i can txt round for more players...early days so building it up day by day just now. Will advertise on local radio papers etc to get word about.

If you are going to use this for pimping tournies please read the charter in the sub forum (where I am moving this to) and update accordingly.

    TY.

I'm working in Limerick in 2 weeks time, perhaps you could do the official thing and post a schedule in the right place so the controllers dont get miffed
they hate when you prostitute yourself or your upcoming events like you were doing in earlier threads
they have a charter up to avoid being plagued with adds etc

however, if you could leave an e-mail address or website address with the tourneys and cash games, that would be super
