Hotel Dusk: Room 215

Played this for an hour last night and its a damn fine adventure game for the DS. Its made by the same people who made Trace Memory/Another Code, so if you liked that, then you'll be right at home here.

Graphically, it has a great style (think "Take on me" video by Aha). Controls are great (use the stylus to steer your character around the map, while the other screen shows you what you see from an FPS perspective).

Pros: Great story/style/interface. Clever puzzles.
Cons: Average music. If you don't like reading, then stay away....

I saw this on Joystiq or Kotaku yesterday. Looks very interesting. I take it you've imported it? Play are saying some time in March for release here, I might get it off Play-Asia... though just checking them there it won't be released until January 25th

Liking it very much so far, nice visuals and good set up using the DS sideways (like Brain Training).

Yeah great game, so far im on chapter 3 i think. Lots better than trace memory imo. I actually planned on finishing Pheonix Wright 2 before i started this, but alas, i couldnt resist it.

Got this from cdwow the other day. Seems quite good and a bit different. But It requires a lot of time to get into. I started it on Monday night and spent an hour on it without even noticing.

Miles better than Another Code, which I didn't like much. I'm only on chapter 2, but am going away on holidays next month, with some long flights, so thinking of saving it for then.

Is the music in the ad the same as that in the game? If it is then i'm in! Slow paced thrillers have to have soul damn it! Looks great though. Here's hoping for more point and clickesque games for the ds to come.
