    Hi guys,

well its finally here! We have our web site more or less complete. All thats left to be done is some tidying up of grammer and the addition of the Xyience product list - which will be done today or tomorrow hopefully!

    I 'd apreciate if you all had a peek and relay'd any opinions back to me on;

    1) ease of navigation

    2) product list

    3) Understanding the check out

    4) Prices

Any feed back is appreciated whether it be criticism or other wise!

    www.pronutrition.ie

    Thanks guys
    Jon

I think the site looks very good and it's easily navigated. I can't comment on the product list because I wouldn't know much about it but everything I've heard good things about on this and the fitness forum seem to be listed.

I don't like the picture of the dude holding the cup in the top bar. Looks like something from a viagra advert.

Hi Jon, best of luck with the site!

A few points I noticed while browsing through it (for what they're worth!):

    1. The top-left banner logo is quite small, and feels quite "tacked on" since the colours don't blend with the background.

    2. The dude at the top - well it's a crotch to shoulder shot of him stroking a shaker - nuff said!

    3. The top links just below the logo - they look like full buttons, but the images are links and the text just below them is a seperate link. I find myself clicking on the dead space around and below the text links, thinking that it should be part of the "button".

    4. It's quite easy to navigate and kudos for actually having a working search function!

    5. The "Add to Cart" link under each product I found quite hard to spot. Maybe it's that it's blue text on a blue background, or maybe I'm just stupid! Perhaps a different link colour there, or move it to the right under the "description" column so it stands out a bit more?

That's all I can think of!

Agreed on alot of that. Including the 'boy' with the shaker!.

As someone who order's online alot I found the site easy to navigate, including the 'add to cart'' button's.

Your product line up is ok, but I'd have like to have found some dextrous & either Gaba or Melotonin.

Finally some of the products don't list accurately what your getting, ie some of the proteins don't tell me what serving of protein I'm getting per scope.

Thats about it. Best of luck with the site, I'll add a link to a bodybuilding board I moderate and pass along any comments.

***Oh, have to mention here. I've used Jon's 'Big whey' and found it fantastic in mint***

Thanks everyone for the feed back, its appreciated!

Unfortunately the shaker boy is staying lol, we decided on him during the early part of the project. So the guy that ddesigned him signed off a few weeks ago. I think he's ok, he was originally peeling an orange!

Mairt, I've yet to finish putting on some of the directions and contents under the proteins, so that will be sorted soon enough.
As for the dextrose, we really can't compete with Boots chemist with this stuff, they sell big boxes of it for less than 2 euro!

    Thanks for the plug btw!

Mairt, should you ever be in the mood for a nice desert then mix some milk, ice, Hagen Daiz Belgian Choc and 2 scoops of big whey choc mint in a blender and enjoy. :D

Lads what are you talking about that dude at the top is HOT.... actually Jon that might be something you want to think about changing alright. I'll pick up the Freud book and go through it of you want but I think its fairly obvious!

Still, good site, I'll be sending people your way!

:D now that you mention it that way... maybe we should!

Thanks for the support Barry, I'll now let you advertise your club in Dublin 7 :D

The reason we decided on that guy was we found that casual gym users were put off by the big body building freaks (im looking at you Dragan) on posters and leaflets. When they saw the pics they thought you have to be 'like that' to buy in that shop or use that stuff...which of course is rubbish. Supps and sports nutrition per se are for everyone who wants to use them.

Freak eh? My kind just take that as a compliment!

The pose is just a tad....iffy, in that picture to be honest mate. I honestly don't even see the need to have it myself!

    Great looking site - Jon

However I would recommend a beginners information area or FAQs etc.
I (At 33 yrs old) have never tried supplements and enhancers and I wouldn't know where to begin.
I practice TKD twice a week, run 2 nights a week and lift some weights (not very heavy, more reps) twice a week. So aprox 4-5 hours of exercise per week. What would be good for me ? Can any of these supplements be damaging ? I have heard some horror stories about creatine!!
Sorry for the ignorance but I haven't a clue....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,621 ✭✭✭yomchi

    Hi Buck,
All I can say is if you over use anything it can be bad for you. You really don't need creatine unless your really training hard - for a top comp or something like that. I simple natural recovery drink would do you fine for after training. This will help your body recover and replenish lost gylcogen, it will also help muscles rebuild with its whey and carb content.

    Jon
