Stamp Duty and business

    Hi,

I am setting up a property development company and i have a quick question about stamp duty. If I am a director of the property company, does it affect my own personal stamp duty rates, when it comes to buying my first personal property. I am not looking for a reduction on stamp duty for the business properties, but i am concerned that when it comes to buy my first personal property i wont get the cheaper rate of stamp duty, because the company owns other property, which i am a director of.

    Thanks in advance.

A "company" is a seperate legal entity and therefore doesnt affect you personally.
