Does anyone know of a good website where I can buy a digital camera. There is an Olympus I would like to buy but all the Irish sites are very expenive. Does anyone know of a good, reliable site that ships to Ireland and is cheap?

another good one is www.expansys.ie not as cheap as pixmania but good customer service and prompt delivery to Ireland. If I was buying another camera I would go with them even if more expensive than pixmania. A number of people have complained about pixmania.

I'd second Pixmania, have bought 3 Ixus 900's off them with accessories. Price can't be beaten, ordered one last Monday, got it Thursday!
I have noticed others that have encountered problems though, guess I was lucky.

just to say, the expansys customer service in my experience is absolutely abissmal and i would warn anyone i can to avoid them if at all possible. I ordered a phone from them and it was broken when i got it, waited 6 months for them to sort it out, was on phone to them constantly trying to get it sorted and eventually they told me they would charge me 30 euros to get it sent back to me in its broken state or 100 euros to get it fixed and sent back, so i ended up getting it fixed and sent back and then selling it to try recoup some of the money i had lost. avoid like the plague.

in other news though, pixmania are fantastic to deal with, my parcel went missing in post and they gave me the delivery charge back on my credit card as an apology, couldnt recommend them highly enough.

I used Pixmania too and found it very good and much cheaper then any shop in Dublin.

Got a Sony camera for almost 100 cheaper then in the Sony shop in Dublin !!!

I've used Pixmania 5 or 6 times and have had no problems. If you do decide to go with them, there's a box for a promotional discount code when you checkout. You'll find some on the link below - it's only up to 3% but better than a kick in a sensitive area.

    http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/index.html?fuseaction=partenaire&PartID=601&srcid=391&mctag=uk_10668

But you might try using someone else for accessories like memory cards and spare batteries.

7dayshop.com amongst others can be much cheaper.

    .

So your telling us that you received it in a broken state and then you paid to get it fixed? Methinks that you are not telling us all (if any) of the truth...
