Interested in what some of you guys would do here ?

Villain made it $6 to play in CO. I flat called on the button with KJo and flop the nut straight. In my experience flopping the nuts is very often an omen. I would describe Villain as being Weak Tight.

I know this seems pretty simple, but I am genuinely interested in what people would do here.

I would value bet, because if he had aces full ... a hand that big he's not gonna check to u and risk u just checking aswell, IMO, i would say he's more likely to bet to you, a big bet at that....but u never know...... i would throw out a please call me bet and see what happened,

wat did u do anyway Tim ???

I'd bet more on the turn, 45 or so. You have put less money on the turn here than you did on the flop.
I would value bet the river too, probably quite big as it looks like he could have an ace.

Always? Really? This will just get you in very difficult situations if you flop a pair.

not always, but im not letting a weak tight player take my button too often.

calling enoucrages the blinds into the pot. i want to be heads up so raise.

Bet more on the turn, deffo bet more on the turn... 20 into a pot of 63 is too little.

    I deffo bet the river - 60/70ish

The raise size on the flop is ok. Bet much more on the turn. And I may fold it preflop depending on the raiser.

fold pf, raise more on the flop, bet 2/3 pot on river.

Against this opponent I am not folding this hand on the button in a 6max game. Its easy to get away from on the flop if it doesn't hit me and even so I still have position. I am not playing this hand against a different opponent or out of position so i do appreciate what you are saying.

I know my betting on each street in this hand leaves a lot to be desired, I guess I was just trying to build the pot. I bet out fifth street approx 1/2 pot and got a call with Ace Rag.

Is that guy raising a lot of hands worse than KJ? Neither of you have a full stack and a guy who is weak tight would of folded A rag on the flop. I dont like any part of this hand.

I think calling a raise with kj is pretty bad tbh.
