We're having a right old laugh in work thanks to you Dave! Thanks! :D

@ Jancav: What do you call "freeview"?

@ Shmaido: you didn't miss a whole lot of games... I think you only missed a couple of big Top 14 games (SF -v- ST and SF -v- Biarritz) and France's Summer Internationals... That's about it really

maybe that's not what it's called officially....but I live in the sticks, and don't have cable, so get BBC etc through the once off payment satellite...anyway, you have to subscribe to Sky to get C5...or am I wrong?

Remember thinking it was amazing when I found out I could watch the French v NZ games. Didn't think it was so great after two of the worst matches ever :/

I agree... Almost made me feel ashamed of being French (almost)!

So you have a Sky Digibox with a "Freesat from Sky" card? Or did you buy the hardware yourself and have no card?

It's also on Setanta as well for those who don't want the French commentary.

The Sky Digibox hardware? You should post on the Stellite forum (under Tech > Cable & Digital TV). TV5 is free to air and you might be able to tune it with that hardware you bought!

Is there anywhere in town they might show it? Unlikely, but you never know.

So? What did you guys think? I was proud to see Toulouse play to win in Paris (very rare) and a little gutted about the forward passe(s) that were not spotted and led to a try... :( We should have won this game...

Hope Jeff Dubois is ok too. Nasty KO...

yeah watched that! silky skills. France picking from some of the guys on display there will be a serious threat to all 6N teams, on paper!

    Great entertainment too!

80,000 people in the stadium, is that an exception for a top 14 match or do they get those sorts of crowds often?

No, that's not usual. Only huge games against Stade Français are held in the Stade de France. That's Stade Français -v- Stade Toulousain or Biarritz (and perhaps Clermont and Perpignan too). That's about it. But average attendance in the Top 14 is pretty good usually. Here you will find the attendance per match/week-end sor far this season. Pretty good!

It was entertaining alright! Still gutted we lost after coming so close... :o

We'll fail miserable in the VI Nations... We always do when it's World Cup year...

Yeah I enjoyed this one, thought that Toulouse deserved the victory, Paris certainly got the rub of the green with the refereeing decisions. M. Jutge has gone down in my estimations which is a worry as he has the Ireland England game.

Toulouse played really well, was good to see Baby back and looking pretty sharp as well. Llanelli will be releived that Toulouse didn't play that well when they came up against them in the HEC.
