however i've also read that there have been problems on some macs,
has anyone here done this successfully?

i also have my SE p900 phone running
saling clicker as the potential remote

I tried doing this last week and ended up having to reinstall OS X (luckily I didn't have to format the hard disk). When I ran the installation and restarted the Mac I got stuck on a blue screen and the only way around was to reinstall OS X (wouldn't boot in safe mode either). I have a G4 mac mini with 10.4.8.

I use Salling Clicker too (well worth the €'s)

    thanks for the quick reply.

guess ill wait and hope apple make it available to the wider mac community,
bit of let down really, they(apple) should make a bluetooth version of their ir remote and sell it to accompany the front row software. that'd make the software a proper option to all front row-less mac users.

Never had issues instaling it on PPC myself. Haven't tried it on intel though.
