Anyone know where to fnd cheap flights Dublin to Phuket ? The cheapest I got quoted is like 950 euro incl taxes - is this good or what ? Tell you what, if anyone can find me a place to get a return trip from Dublin to Phuket i.e. less than 850 incl tax (for september) I'll personally wash all your dishes for a week....no matter where you live....as long as yee don't mind a strange man in your kitchen between 6 and 7pm..

Do you absolutely have to fly to Phuket? Malaysia Airlines are probably the cheapest. My flights to Bangkok were about €700 but I went in June, not September and I don't know how much that should affect the price. You can't buy directly from Malaysia Airlines, you have to go through a travel agent. I used Trailfinders and they were fine. Having said that, I only have experience with USIT and Trailfinders and it isn't exactly hard to beat the former!

Anyway, you could fly to Bangkok and then get a train + bus transfer to Phuket for about €25 or so iirc.

December / Jan is the most expensive June would be fairly cheap.

Give Trailfinders.ie a call also plan to fly into bangkok and travel down (it will save you loads and trip is not bad)

Got it down to 904 but that is with multiple changes, dub-lon-doha-bangkok-phuket. Not much good when you will spend 2 day recovering.

Ebookers.ie offering dub bkk for 743 incl and then a seperate search bkk - phuket for 106 sterling (160 euro) inclusive totals 900 euro.

Will keep trying, its now a challange to me AND i have lots of dirty dishes HA HA

You could try Club Travel as well, either on the web or in person. They have a lot of Aussies working there who know their way around SE Asia.

Prices to SE Asia are well up on last year at the moment, possibly due to fuel prices, but may drop (a little) if demand isn't there. Superscouse's price (900)looks good if it applies to September.
Phuket's a dump, you might as well go to the Canaries

Air Asia fly BKK to Phuket 5 times a day. Less than €50 return.

http://www.gohop.ie sorted me out heading out to Bangkok 20th May back on the 29th May. Price is €313 and tax is €290 per adult. I imagine a lot of the comparision sites will quote something similar but what impressed me with Gohop is I called them to find out which airport was convenient for transfers given travelling with two of my young ones and they answered phone within a minute and it was nice to talk to someone who knew where Kilcoole in Wicklow was. i.e. They are based in Ireland. :):)

you never told us what days you want to fly or how long you want to stay which would obviously help....

But anyway I think I have a cheap and convienient way for you.

Dub-BKK via ams with KLM 666 return for the 3rd sep to 24th sep
Then Air asia bkk-phuket for less than 100 return.

    Total price about 750.

Bus to phuket from bkk would only be about 30 euro so if you do it that way it would be total price of 710ish

    Yes I am fantastic!!!!
first flight found with momondo, dont pick the first one as it has an overnight layover in AMS but if you scroll down you can get the same price with much shorter layover!
