Sky + Problem

Hi,

I had sky + installed recently. I cant seam to get it to record anything!

When i record a program it says recording. Then in the planner, when i go to view the program, it is just stuck on "recording interrupted please wait". Or even with live pause it, upon resume, it just reloads the channel, without playing from where it was paused.

Any ideas? There has never been any error messages

I presume you rang SKy to enable the + properly?

If it wasn't enabled with Sky it would just say ring such-and-such a number to upgrade your subscription, it wouldn't even try to record or live-pause AFAIK.
Sounds like you do need to phone Sky, try calling early in the morning to reduce waiting time.

I presume you've tried turning it on and off at the mains? You could also try a planner rebuild (your recordings won't be erased) Press services>system setup> then 0 then 1 then select again and choose planner rebuild. If this fails try a full system reset - all your recordings WILL BE ERASED.

I had a problem where I could not record and watch another channel at the same time, it would show it was recording but it wasn't, it turned out one of my connections was loose, no warnings showed up. You may have a similar issue.

Press Services, 4, 6 to see if you have signal on both feeds.
