In a nutshell, I'm going there in July. I'll be 17 then so I just want to know what the nightlife there is like. Any info is much appreciated

meant to be decent enough so it is, i got much more reccomendations for playa del ingles or playa de las americas if you want a full blown low budget sun drink session

Lagos, Nigeria? You are going there on holiday? Are you serious?

Portugal. Actually, funnily enough I was looking at reviews and I made the same mistake. I was there lookin' at a review for some place and apparently it was to be avoided if you're caucasian. My mother got an awful fright but then we realized that we were viewing a Nigerian site, not a Portuguese one.

Good for you have a nice time. Anyway, I was in Lagos in 1970 when I was in the British merchant navy. (I know I’m ancient, but old people use computers as well), the civil war was on there then. If ever there was a hell hole on earth Lagos is it.

    Funny stuff :p

I was in Lagos (Portugese version ;)) last May and I thought it was a great little place. I was there with my girlfriend and we loved the pubs, restaurants and the marina. As far as going there with your mates for a boys holiday............I wouldn't bother, the pubs are tiny and the nightlife pales in comparison to places further up the coast like Albufeira.

Ah, well in that case Lagos is grand. There are a good few (small) pubs/clubs around and there are plenty of water sports and actives during the day. It's a nice spot!

(Btw, I recommend going on a boat trip around the many caves in the cliffside, it's pretty cool!)

Cool, I'll be up for wind surfing and all that jazz, mainly just beach football by day and clubbing by night though. No variety needed:)
