    Web Developer / Designer

    Our client is a full services Emarketing and Web Development / Web Services Company. They are looking for an experienced, dedicated and motivated web developer / designer to join their team in Blackrock, Co Dublin right near the DART line.

    The individual will be responsible for the design of new websites and the maintenance of existing sites and a key role will be in working closely with clients (and potential clients) to establish their online requirements and work with them throughout a project from start to finish.

    Responsibilities:
    * Web projects – being involved and managing the production of a project from concept, planning, design, development, dealing with the client directly until project completion / sign off.
    * Design/Develop new websites – within this it will require the creation of design mock-ups and the conversion of these into standards compliant code
    * General website maintenance on existing
    * Working to integrate the designs into CMS (Content Management Systems) and dynamic database driven websites
    * Working directly with clients to provide the right solution for their needs

    Requirements:
    * At least 2 years professional experience as a web designer
    * A strong portfolio of previous website design and development.

    Excellent working knowledge of
    * Adobe Photoshop/Macromedia fireworks
    * Adobe Flash
    * PHP knowledge a distinct advantage
    * Excellent GUI and Usability design skills
    * Expertise in HTML, CSS
    * Ability to work with dynamic websites - especially php//MY SQL sites
    * Ability to develop pages to W3C accessibility standard
    * Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    * Ability to work as part of a team, meet targets, deadlines and also work on own initiative
    * Must be absolutely fluent in English both written and spoken

    Desirable:
    * Experience with Java Script
    * Excellent planning and organisational skills
    * A working knowledge of how website hosting / email hosting works
    * Website hosting troubleshooting / problem solving desirable

    Salary: up to €40,000 with bonus + Benefits
