Sore Shins!!!!

Good Afternoon, Recently I have felt a dull pain in the bottom of both shins. If feels like a dull pain and is uncomfortable. Now Im not sure if it's shin splints , but any knowledge would be great on the matter. Could it be my shoes on my walk to work? And what can i do to relieve the pain? Ichiro
