Question?

Hi,
i am just wondering if anybody knows of any clubs on dublins southside that are welcoming of novices,
i am 30 and would love to start boxing, i have many years martial arts training
so therefore would not be a total beginner to the training and sparring etc,
although i do understand that boxing is a lot tougher than some martial arts,

my main reason for wanting to take up the sport is to improve my self defence skills as i do believe that boxing is the ultimate in self defence and indeed many black belts have also told me the same.
if anybody could post up training days and times it would also be a great help,

The best thing to do bud is ring the closest clubs to you and ask them could you come down to train-tell them you want to learn and dont say much about self defense as they might think you just want it for the street-the numbers are in the topic near the top-if this does not work personal boxing sessions could be your next step-i don them but im based on the northside-i might know someone who could do it if you have somewhere to train-check with clubs 1st though..best of luck
