:( my grandad called me last week and asked me to have a look and see which bookies where offering the best odds. it was totesport at 25/1. i was going to take it but had to wait for pay day as i was going to put i nice tidy sum on. anyway my grandad went to totesport and put what he calls a 'nice sum' on it:@ i woke up on sunday after watching the ricky hatton fight saturday to see it had run:( (busy week) im defo going on the horse tho. i think theres still value at 12s:) just absolutely gutted, the joys of antepost!

As i mentioned in a previous thread a few weeks ago, the Cheltenham ante-post one, the clerk of the course confirmed before Christmas that the ground would be watered to ensure the going was on the soft side of good for The Festival. This is to ensure the number of horse fatalities and jockey injuries falls signification from last years figure.

It will be good, good to soft in places. I really cannot see it being heavy. The cold dry weather is in now and I don't think there will be much more rain between now and the festival, although what do I know!

it is likely to be good to soft but with the weather the way it is you can never tell. i wouldnt bet against it being heavy no matter wat drainage they have. i just think wat little value may have been left on antepost betting is now very risky:(
