    Hi all,

I have an interview with Friends First in Dublin for a Java software developer role. I have been told the interview consists of a 20 minute Java test. Have any of you been interviewed for this position and can tell me what the test involves?

    Cheers,
    Jeff

From experience it may revolve around datastructures and algorithms. Beyond that be familiar with J2EE how to use it and so on.

Thanks for the reply.. The test is so short I cant imagine much code writing needed but who knows.

some of my mates did this last year and a guy out of my class is programming for them. AFAIK the pay is pretty crappy for a BScHons graduate circa 25k.

programming exam they had to do was bout 30mins long and involved coding up a bit of functionality which involved 2d arrays and I/O

    Hello,
Have an interview with Friends First early next week for a senior Java developer role. Its been 8 years since this post was made. Has any body attended an interview with them more recently ? Its going to be 30 mins of technical assignment and 1 hr technical interview. I cant imagine coding up any JEE stuff in 30 minutes. Any ideas?
