Nice one man. Real nice. :D

Just how much distortion can you squeeze from that baby?

Channel 4 is nuts. Its got some serious gain without a massive amount of dynamic loss. I love it for solos. But its strength is in all 4 channels are truly different and totally useable :)

I played the Herbert too. It has more gan but it is a different style of sound all together. Little more metal orientated. I prefered the VH-4 but would love to have the herbert too.

It weights a tonne!!! Theres only 700 odd in the world I waited 7 months for mine!!! Was worth it though

Did you order it directly from Peter Diezel or did you go through Thomann or another shop?
And how much was it? (if you don't mind me asking)

I was considering getting one over a year ago & the prices seem to going steadily up since then.

It was a little over €3k. I bought it direct. There so nice to work with. I even got free Diezel stickers and a t-shirt...

One question, are you running it with EL34's or 6L6's?

It came stock with el34 but there extremely tight sounding. Not flabby like alot of el34 sounds. It can run a handful of different types of tubes in the power section.

That's quite handy. Some amps need to be modded for different kinds of tubes. I assume it has some kind of bias switch?

Are you going to try experimenting with 6L6's or something else any time soon?

Maybe sometime but not right as its been set up in the factory and sounds ****ing class. Don't want to ****ing with it.

There is a bias inside the amp and can be re biased fairly easy.
