    Hi there,

I'm looking to join a wine appreciation course but have not been able to find out any information. Also looking for a good book on wines.

    All suggestions appreciated.

    Thanks

    Paul

Contact the Wine Development Board of Ireland. They have a number of courses.

Book? Try Hugh Johnson's "A Life Uncorked". It's his autobiography but it's ALL about wine. I recommend it as he's a fantastic writer. The book was a pleasure to read.

If you'd prefer something more textbooky, walk into any Eason's and there are loads of introductory wine books.
