I have a machine I'm working on for use as a HTPC running Fedora 6/MythTV. It has no pci slots so I'm stuck using a usb dongle. The one I have (NetGear WG111v2) refuses to work with ndiswrapper although it installs the driver and gives the following output:

    ndiswrapper -l Installed drivers:
    net111v2 driver installed, hardware present

iwconfig gives me feedback but if I interact with the hardware i.e. change the ESSID etc. through command line of the gui the whole box hangs and is irrecoverable. There is a guide for installing it on Edgy which I followed(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=329299). So any ideas or any links to a dongle that will work please?
