Is that allowed to take drving test on auto gearbox car??

    This is the question lads, I've passed recently theory test.Now can buy autogearbox one quite cheap an am wondering if its allowed to take driving test for a full B licence in a certain period of time on it or manual gearbox only???

    If you take a test in an automatic, you'd only be able to drive automatics unless you take a further manual test at a later date.

    If you take your test in a manual, you can drive either.

    If you pass on an automatic you're licence is only for automatics.

    well, thanks, next Q then, for how long its allowed to stay at provisional licence before you go for driving test???

    license 1 valid for 2 years, license 2 valid for 2 years, a third license may be issued where proof of application for a driving test, or having sat a driving test can be given. (this is all due to be changed shortly though)
