80th Birthday songs

A friend of mine is doing the disco at a 80th birthday soon. He asked me if there are any specific songs he should play/take. He is flying over from the US and a friend of one of the guests. He hasn't done many parties for over 50s! so is in need of some pointers! Any suggestions welcome!

My gran is in her eighties and she's loves the old style swing/big band stuff by the likes of Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman and she's a huge fan of Nat King Cole and Frankie Laine.
