Have been reading this lately myself. Looks like hes going to throw away every penny he has if hes not careful, especially now that hes going to cut into his rent money to "rebuild". Hes far too stubborn for his own good, should listen to the advice hes been given time and time again.

he should charge people to read his blog, looks like this is the only way he can make money from poker.

he once amassed a 70k sterling stack at the 40/80 nl table on crypto, just a degenerate though.

Poor kid's more than a bit depressed.

Signs off saying: "Sorry for all the suckouts, BlueScouse"

here I was feeling bad about losing $750 taking a shot at 5/10 trying to double my roll and get bumped to 1/2 nl ahead of time instead of being patient and waiting another week or two or three at worst :o

Off back to .50/1 with my pathetic arse and remember, it doesn't pay to take shots. It pays to play what you know you can beat consistently in the long run and absorb the hit to your roll with confidence because it can take it.

I feel very, very silly about it but I knew it would catch up to me sooner or later, ever since I did double my roll the last time I took a shot like that.

back to the grinder, drop down levels, don't be a degenerate gambler you big plumb. They've been feeding me long enough for me to know better but greed is a pain in rear isn't it?

oh well, at least I still haven't gone busto....

His reflection on the year and aims for this year are especially good. Was up to 170k at one point and ended the year at 0. His aim for 2007 is to win 500k. Nothing like a bit of harsh realism to sort yourself out.

from the comments on his site
so now MrFluff is going to take the rest of your roll? what u call with on the QQKKJ board when MrFluff turned a Q to win?

you want to know what i had on the QJQKK board. i called with 47o hoping for split. probably sums up my play in one decision.

His blog is the most interesting poker blog I have read. However at 19 if he goes to college most people are skint anyhow (like himself), but he has one hell of a story to tell.
I think he'll do alright as long as he stays the fcuk away from poker. Most poker players will never experience the highs and lows that this youngster has. (I personally dont think I could handle the thought of losing that amount of cash)

    good post LL

I just checked out his blog, surreal to say the least - kid obviously has no idea of pretty much anything (most of all poker lol). A psychologist would have a field day with him...

I wonder how much he actually 'lost' i.e. his own money as opposed to the 170k roll he built when on some insane rush at the nosebleed limits.

    Anyone know?

lol, sounds like something from Jane Austen ("Mr LuckyLloyd assumed his inheritance at age 19 from his great Aunt Jemima and promptly commenced to a life of depravity in London, drinking quantities of port-wine with other young bucks, gambling large sums at cardplay and consorting with young serving wenches of questionable morals" - that sort of thing....)

ah his parents are loaded? well in that case, just think of it as another form of wealth redistribution from the rich to the poor and feel no sympathy....

I'm damn glad they didn't give out credit cards to 19 year olds when I was one!

To echo El Stuntman, good post there LL. What a sad read and I feel very sorry for that kid, poker is the last thing you should be obsessed with (even if you are awesome) at 19 - what about women, travelling and partying? I really hope we don't have a few BlueScouses of our own on boards.
