I know nothing about the DS, other than my nephew has one, and now i must have one! :)
I'm gonna buy one, i just want to make sure i dont buy one, and see it €30 cheaper a week later.

Any ideas what nintendo are thinking? Personally i assume they wont, but with zelda and pokemon still a fair bit away from release, the next few weeks might be slow on sales for them?

The DS Lite is selling like a mad thing, so I wouldn't expect a price drop any time soon. There probably won't be any change in price at all until the next big games come out (probably Zelda and Pokémon, like you said) and Nintendo issue some special offer bundles, as with the first-model DS and Nintendogs and Mario Kart.

i'd reccommend checking out some bundles in the shops, when i got mine six months ago i got brain train and the DS for 164 in smyths, not a bad deal, they may be going a little cheaper now.

id go ahead and bite the bullet the psp is so much more expensive and unless they start going close to the ds price point it would make no sense for nintendo to consider any price drop they are in it for the money after all.
