Looking for A bass player

Dead Birds

hi,
We are Dead Birds a recent splinter group off the The Pornographic Left a nine member folk-rock band creating and gigging with original music.

Currently we consist of a lead female singer (that’s me, Mariel!), Paddy-singer/guitarist/mandolin player, Pat our drummer, violin player Aland from Kurdistan, and we have only recently found Dommo- a cracking lead guitarist. Paddy myself and Pat have been gigging for 4 years now and we have been playing with Aland for about a year.

We are looking for a dedicated Bass player who can join with Pat to create a strong rhythm section for Dead Birds.

Its hard to describe the music and I suppose the best thing to do is listen to it. We aspire to go down a more Goth-folk route. Alands playing has a distinctive eastern quality and my vocals tend to feed of that sound. Most importantly we really love to play and write and enjoy playing with as many people as possible!
