Call diverts - set them up with cust care?

I'm on O2 billpay. I don't have access to my handset, I don't want to miss any calls.

I've rang cust care and they say they can't setup diverts over the phone, that they need to be done from the physical handset.

Has anyone successfully had a care agent set them up diverts over the phone? I've had them cancel for me before and find it odd they can't set them up.

Just looking for anyone who's done it!

if you call and ask for an unconditional divert to be set via tech, this can be done. Its not offered as a common practice as it is not the most practical way to set diverts up

But if you ask for this, you should be facilitated.
