Expected Salary?

Hey guys just wondering if anyone could help me out.
I know this bloke who owns a small company. There might be a job coming up, depending on whether he gets the contract etc., but it would be a sales position. Nothing too big and important, probably around entry level. There would be a lot of travelling around the country involved and he would provide a van and whenever an overnight stay was required he'd pay for accommodation.
He has said he'd like me to interview for the position if it does come up but this is the first time a position like this has come up in the company so he's not too sure what sort of salary to offer.

So I was just wondering what do you think would be a fair salary for a position like this? I'm looking for as fair a price as possible, I don't wanna screw him and definitely wouldn't want to see someone else screwing him because of my advice if I didn't get the job.

So just to sum up about the job if you don't wanna read all that:
Entry level sales (or just above)
    a lot of travelling
    company van provided
    accommodation provided where required

What do you think? Thanx in advance

E25K? Bit less, maybe, plus commission.

Generally entry level positions start with a low basic with ''possibility'' of commision.. Even i'd say €25k is very generous. Not that i'd be complaining but unfortunately companies don't usually like to be generous.

    I'd say between 20-23k
