When you see the OMSP stated on the VRT website, does that mean this is what the car would be sold at in the Rep?

I priced a car this morning, a Apr 2005 registered 2.0D Corolla Verso T-Spirit and after paying VRT would set me back about just short of €29k. Little less depending on what discount I can get from the NI dealer. However, the OMSP is saying its €26k. It's impossible to get this car down here used and with the spec the T-Spirit offers, I would imagine it would be equivalent to the Sol spec here. But very few Sol spec diesels were bought so hard to find.

Sol new with metallic & charges is about €38k and they depreciate slowly so I would have thought €29k would be close to a fair valuation on the used one, considering the mileage.

The OMSP is very hit and miss.

But working back your figures it looks like the dealer in the North is looking for fairly stiff money.

They sure are rare! I could only find one on Autotrader.co.uk, Black, 24K miles asking £12,695 on a straight sale you should have it in for a little over €26K...
