Does anyone know if it's possible to purchase a glassfibre high roof for a Merc Sprinter like this..

    James_Cook_Westfalia_Sprinter.jpg

I really love the Westfalia "James Cook" motorhome, but even secondhand they seem to be big dollars.

If it's possible to get a high roof like this I'd like to price up the cost of building one to see if it's practical.

I suppose Westfalia must sell replacement tops for accident damaged vehicles, but would probably want chassis numbers etc.

    Any ideas anyone?

    You could try this crowd:

They've been doing high-roofs for ever in Germany, plus thay have all manner of accessories and conversion kits as well.

Shipping might be a problem, though

    EDIT:

Here's another crowd (directly from Germany this time) that does them:

The original "James Cook" high roof with the bulge out the front seems to be available from Westfalia only. But as you suspected, only as a replacement part for an existing "James Cook" and not on its own.
