Almost won 50k!!!

I cant believe it!!! I got one of those winning streak doubler cards!! I scratched it off, then i noticed what looked like 50000 printed 3 times.. i held in a shout and scratched the doubler thing to make it 100k but did not get it... i then looked again and one of the 50000 was actually 5000! My heart just sank... FECK!!

That sucks man Although I'd imagine many, many more people actually come that close to winning 50k than actually winning it. You must have had some buzz for those couple of seconds though.

Seriously... i had the money spent in a few seconds!!! Pay off all loans except the mortgage of course... then loads left over for all kinds of nice new toys and a great long holiday!!
Great feeling as you said cornbb for the few moments it lasted

when i was in australia last year i bought a smoothie from one of those big franchise smoothie places. i unwrapped this silver straw from the packeging & thought to myself, " a silver straw... nice". as ye do, after i'd finished i f***ed it in the bin & thought nothing of it, till i passed the same smoothie place the following day and saw a huge poster. SILVER STRAW = FREE 3 WEEK ADVENTURE TRIP TO THAILAND.

When we were in school, we rigged a text alert from the lotto to my friend to convince him that he had won. Easily one of the funniest things I've ever seen. He agreed to buy 3/4 of us new cars etc. Was actually quite cruel in hindsight!
