Hey, living in a rented house, was going to go LCD but security reasons tell me that this may not be the best option

Anyone come across any good deals please let me know €350 - €400 max.

    Cheers!

most big name manufacturers stopped making 28"+ 2 years ago and dumped them cheap so I got a 32" sony for €399

you can get a noname 28" for about €300 in most shops but a brand that you recognise is rare or extinct. The biggest branded tv nowadays is 22" in tube form.

Daewoo and Toshiba still make a 28" CRT but with a Digital Tuner , you need one with an analogue tuner. send an email to info@noeldempsey.ie and ashk Noel when the ould Digital TV is coming here as he is teh funky digital minishter.

I saw a 28" CRT in Homebase that was about 220, and they had a 10% day so it was down to 180 approx.

If you have an OAP i think they get 10% off too on thu evenings.
