    Hey,

Iv an AVI file that I want to burn to a DVD but im affraid that the size of the movie wont be good on the TV. Presently, if I watch it on the PC its only a small square in the centre of the screen and even telling Media Player to go to full screen doesnt do any difference - it doesnt adjust the movie itself size.

I have WinAVI to place to DVD Format, then put on DVD using DVDShrink. Any tips on how to make it so that it does play full size?

    Thanks

Would you not have to recode the video to a 4:3 AR?

I just told WinAVI to go do it to 16:9 and ill see what happens. I dunno what size it was originaly, but from a google search it didnt look like a 4:3.

I take it if a TV cant show a 16:9 it will shrink it?

sometimes i'll cut a half minute clip out of an avi file with virtualdub and convert that just test that things will come out okay.

your problem might just be media player is having problems with playing back the video properly and when you convert it it to dvd will be okay
