I'm looking for recommendations for a chest guard. I'd prefer not to get the solid plastic cup things, but are there any alternatives?
Had a look on blitzsport but there are no images available so I don't know what else is out there.

I assume that you only plan on using the women's chest guard for training? Please note that some MA styles specify what is to be worn, as do tournaments for sparring. Four basic types which you may want to consider (all can be ordered online):

Paragon's in the pink for several pieces of equipment, but white for chest.

Karate supply provides women's rib guards.

The MaxiGuard which may be a little different from what you have seen for women.

Or just perhaps what you are really looking for is something in foam rather than plastic called Bushidogear.

Ebay is also a source to check out, but that changes frequently.

Tournaments with large attendance often draw suppliers, but in all the years I have gone, never saw a women's chest guard in the inventory they brought with them to try on.

Thanks Blue_Lagoon, it would be for training.
Lots to check out on those sites!

    Hi FavouriteSlave!
For WTF/Kukkiwon/Olympic rules tournaments I use a regulation unisex Tekno hard reversible strapped pretty tight that makes me look like Keira Knightley in the final "King Arthur" battle scene. I got a smaller size than recommended for my height so that it would not interfere with my kicking.

PM me if you want to compare notes.
