    Lads,

Do any of you use the crypto network, if so, what firm? I notice a lot on tv and the web a lot of people are using it. Opinions on cash games on it - Soft?

Looking for a new network - done my bit with tribeca, changed and found betfair pretty good but not a lot of players on it in general?

    Cheers

just finished playing about 20k hands at .5/1 on crypto lastweek and have since moved to tribeca..
in general, i found it a lot tighter than tribeca.. cryto probably offer the most bonuses out of all major networks and most people i found are rocking it up to take advantage of them..
depends on what your looking for really but since moving to tribeca, my winrate has increased dramatically and i don't plan on moving back.. gotta love those limpers..

anyway, in terms of which crypto site is best.. they're all basically the same..

www.betsafe.com are doing a great bonus at the moment.. $1000 for 5000MPPs.. it's also possible to get rakeback on top of that..

williamhillpoker offer a £25GBP monthly bonus for playing 5hrs at .5/1 or above.. (great value!)

sunpoker offer a $100 monthly bonus for 500MPPS.. also possible to get rakeback here..

interpoker use to do a great monthly but have changed their terms to make it more difficult to clear..
the above should keep you busy for the time being though..

One of the main reasons Crypto games are much tighter than Tribeca is that the method for calculating RakeBack is the dealt method, so basically you can earn RB by just sitting in the game, and rocking it up. (Unlike Tribeca which uses the Contributed method for calculating RB and bonuses, so only people who actually put money into the pot earn bonuses and RB, so you can't sit there for 1,000 hands a night and just keep your head above water and make RB, you have to play hands) ALOT of Multi tabling RB whores can be found on the lower - mid stakes on Crypto network. But there are some very nice offers around so it's well worth it, just adjust your game to play against rocks.

Cheers lads, ,ight go with William hill, cause their the best known etc. I differ about tribeca though, i am now paranoid about some of the hands that hit on the river, heartbreaking at times, was very happy with betfair, only thing not many users, personally i'd prefer to play with more solid players than maniacs, but thats just me

Ive had an account with interpoker for years I find them excellent I must say the support is second to none with some of the lurvliest sounding girls Ive ever chatted to :D

I get 36% rakeback and if I dont play much for a while they allways ring me and offer bonuses etc to come back. I hadnt played with them a whole lot last year as the 10/20 game on tribeca was too good to pass up but Ive been playing with them alot the last couple of weeks the crypto software is probably the best out there playability wise imo also the table sizes make sense if your multi tabling.

However the games are tougher than tribeca in general.

Cheers Pillow, will check them out, how did you get that rakeback deal. Betfair is tougher than tribeca but thats fine with me $927 up for the week, admittedly i've played just under 21 hours

36% will generally only be available to people who generate alot of rake. Such as Mr. PT. Although there's also talk about Crypto bringing in a CAP of 30% soon, but nothing on that yet.

The standard offers for Crypto are between 32%-35%, usually depending on how much you rake. AFAIK it's usually 32% for people who rake <$1,000 a month and upto 35% if you rake over $1,000 per month. Some affiliates offer a flat rate of 33% which I think will probably end up being the capped amount.

    .

that has to be the best bonus around ATM you don't have to lodge any specific amount just earn the 5000 mpps

it would take 250 hours on one .50/1 full ring PLO table and you've got 3months to clear it i think

How many people are online at one time on betsafe?
many PLO tables at the 50/1 and 1/2 levels?

I havent really played there since the Betfair days in the Merrion but its a No US players network so games start dying around 6am, there is currently a 6 handed and a 3 handed 1/2PLO game going along with an 8 handed 50/1 game, I dont think there would ever be more than 4 of each going. According to pokersitescout their cash game peak was 2335 with an ave of 1100.

you wont see more then 5 .50/1 and the 1/2 has gone mainly shorthand in the last few weeks, the holdem games are going 24 hours and seem busy in the wee hours lately. also traffic seems back up to the to the betfair days with the new sites on board DTD and pharbet joined in the last few weeks.

i know this sounds silly but crypto juice the cards for new players so expect to rum well for the first few weeks. I've had four crypto accounts ran great on all for the first 5/6 weeks followed by a period of break even poker on all. I know what this sounds like but I'm so convinced that I've dropped the stakes I've been playing the past few weeks to mitigate the sickouts all the newbies are hitting

lol its not I'm not of the rigged brigade but I'm convinced they juice them for new players. I can show you RoIs in stts of over 50% for 3 sites for 400to600 games, then break even for the next 500 games. I could be misinterpreting him but MPT suggests something similar in his most recent blog entry
