I need a short story!!

    Hello guys,
    I need a short story and, yes, I need a good one.
    First, let me explain the whole thing, it's about a writer + translator contest.
    Basically, as the translator, I need to find an unpublished story I like.
    Clearly I'm not going to ask you any money, this is not any form of spam or anything else, it's just me writing on this board.
    Now, this contest is based in Italy and it's not much different from a writers contest.
    What we wannabe translators have to do is find an unpublished story (for the rights of the story are yours and not of the publishers - duh -), ask your permission to translate it, get your written permission either for the translation and, hopefully for us, for publication.
    There's no guarantee of publication, it'll all depend on the quality of your story and the quality of my translation.
    It might be possible that the original version and the translation will end up on a proper book, or it could just be an ebook, or else. I dunno.
    Now, about the story. I know writing is the best form of therapy and everyone should write whatever they want, the way they want, so please don't get me wrong, but there's loads of horrible and sad stuff in the real world, I want something funny, something lively.
    We have more chances to impress someone by making him laugh rather than making him cry.
    Fantasy is ok, it wouldn't be my favourite cause it's really hard to write a good fantasy story, but it's ok.
    I can't be too long either, and by too long I mean it can't be more than 4 pages... sorry about that.

    Oh, another thing. There's no money prize. All for glory. I mean, you might even get published in Italy, how cool is that??? Italian people always loved Irish literature. :)
