dabs.ie - good service acknowledgement

    I bought a pc card from dabs.ie and it was delivered about a week before Christmas.
    As it was a present I didn't open it until Christmas. It turned out to be incompatible with my PC and I tried to return it. I couldn't return it using dabs online returns procedure as the item was out of the 7 days grace period for online purchases.
    I contacted dabs customer service and explained that the item was a Christmas gift.
    They very kindly allowed me to return it and gave me a full refund. I just wanted to acknowledge some good customer service and give credit where its due.

    Good to hear you had a good returns experience. I haven't bought anything from Dabs yet, but may consider them when I build my next PC.

    i bought a few things off dabs like hdds and a dvd writer
    they came really fast and everything works fine
    it was an excellent service

    Thank you for lifting my spirits with dabs.ie I was about to go to komplett whom ive ordered from before but there tad on the expensive side..

    Rig on Komplett - €1548
    Same on Dabs - €1447

    Im leaning more towards dabs.ie now :D

    Its great to hear something good about them- i ordered my new laptop off them about 2 hours ago and im after getting an email saying theres a problem with the security check/address... hopefully this will be sorted swiftly once I reply- im very excited about my new lappers and im starting to stress!

    Anyway, its a relief to see some good reports.

    Hate to put a downer on the situation... I got that same thing.. emailed them... 2 days later nothing... emailed them again... 2 days later still nothing... Next day... CANCEL :mad:

    Yeah I got that security thing too, Seems like they buggered up the porting of accounts from dabs.com to dabs.ie thus when you make an order with the .ie account they have a bit of a fit. It takes two days to get a responce from their billing dept if you are lucky the last e-mail i sent them was a copy of the one i had sent them 8 days previously and a complaint. My order was approved but they didnt even bother their arses to respond to my complaint.

    Good news! The status on my laptop has changed to "shipped" so they must have sorted out the security/adress issue today!

    Since the order was placed on saturday night so they only really started dealing with it this morning, they must have dealt with the address check today too and shipped it. We only had to send them one email. Very pleased! Now when I have the thing in my hands I will defo be giving them the big thumbs up!
