[REQ] Lifesize Cardboard Cutout

Does anyone know anywhere to get a large cardboard cut out print from a high-res jpeg, as cheaply as possible?

So far the leading quote is €250 but that seems pretty harsh for a print on a large peice of cardboard... its a student project so we're on a tight budget.

Long shot but does anybody know of anywhere thrifty that does this?

Try Hardcopy in Churchtown - www.hardcopy.ie or reads print service in nassau street.

Easiest option is to print an A0 poster (or 2 of them if you need bigger) (about €30 each of you have it on disk or can e-mail them) and stick it onto cardboard yourself.

If you need something cut into a specific shape it will cost.

if the quality doesnt need to be great, perhaps you could use the printer setup in windows and a standard A4 printer to print out the picture over a series of pages (i.e. Remove borders, and scale up the print size).

Or there must be software that allows you to do it? Either way, it'd probably take a fair bit of trial and error.

Wasnt there some online program that could do this ? I saw it linked from boards before Rasteriser or Rasterbator or something like that.
I took in a jpeg input and scaled it up over X amount of sheets all you had to do was print them. Bang them onto some cardboard and your away.

Yep, the Rasterbator is here, also available in standalone version. :)
