Play.com - How to Contact/Return an Item?

    Hi,

I purchased a DVD boxset from Play.com at Christmas. As it cost over €100 the item was couriered out to me instead of normal post.

The boxset itself comes in a metal tin and when i received the item, the tin was damaged and crushed in places.

I obviously want to return the item so I logged onto play.com, and and went to the return an item section through the Helpdesk link. My order history was brought up with an option to click beside an item, opening up a returns form to fill in.

However I do not have this option for this boxset and i also notice that i do not have the return option/link for any other items that were couriered to me.

My question is now, how do i get in contact with Play.com? There is no other visible email address and the phone number provided only seems to work in the UK. (i tried using country codes etc but it still doesnt work)

Play.com is based in Jersey. Place +44 1534 before the number to phone Jersey.

    Ok,
The only contact number on play's website is 08458001020.

I have tried placing +441534 before that it is doesnt work
    i.e. +44 1534 845 800 1020

Can anyone please help or confirm this? Am i overlooking something here?

Yeah this number works for me - apparently playtrade don't have a direct line so if you wanna contact them just used this number and they'll transfer you.

Had to ring them today to enquire about an order which is in limbo.

The number on their website didn't work for me (0845 800 1020).

I tried 0044 845 800 1020 but received a voice message apologising that the service was unavailable.

The number in the previous post did work 0044 28 90921724 so thanks for that.

I did mention this to the Customer Service Rep who provided me with the following email address for future reference -

    customercare@play.com
